Tracking Employee Hours By Employment Type
Depending on employment type (e.g., full-time vs. part-time, salaried vs. hourly), Zenefits will utilize different methods to determine the number of hours worked during the measurement period. See below for more information about how the Zenefits ACA Compliance app tracks hours worked based on employment type.
Salaried
Part-Time
Zenefits does not measure actual hours worked for salaried employees. Instead, we use the weekly equivalency method to estimate 173 hours worked per month.
