Will I get a notification for a negative background check result?
If an employee's background check returns negative results, the employee will receive a pre-adverse action notification from the employer.
This notification:
- Includes a copy of the background report and a Summary of Rights that tells the employee how to contact the company that provided the report.
- Provides a reasonable period of time during which the employee can dispute the results.
If a candidate or employee disputes the results of a background check, they will need to contact Checkr directly at support @checkr. com.
