Can I use a P.O. Box for my home address?

You shouldn't use a P.O. Box address when entering your information in Zenefits. Zenefits uses your home address for insurance applications, payroll data, and other ancillary functions. A P.O. Box does not reflect residency and can result in HR errors.

Impact on Insurance Coverage

Insurance companies use a home address to determine the region where you should be insured. This may affect your coverage and eligibility. Additionally, for legal reasons, a residency is needed to serve papers or fulfill payment.

Impact on Payroll Processing. 

Correct residence address is the basis for accurate payroll tax calculation as well as for full compliance to payroll reporting rules. 

Updating Address from Dashboard

You can update your address from your dashboard by following these instructions:

  1. Log in to Zenefits.
  2. Click the Personal Information app.
  3. In the Personal Info section, scroll down to the Addresses card.
  4. Click the edit icon.
  5. Enter your home address
  6. Click Save.
