What are acceptable eligibility documents?

During onboarding, employees must provide valid identification and work authorization documents.

There are two ways to satisfy this requirement:

  • Provide a document from the USCIS List A, such as a US Passport or Employment Authorization Document (EAD). Documents on list A suffice as both identity and work authorization.

    or

  • Provide one document from USCIS List B (identification, e.g, US Driver's license) and one from List C (work authorization, e.g., Social Security Card).

A list of acceptable documents can be found here.

Employees can upload scans or images (e.g., taken with a smartphone) of these documents when prompted, but employers must verify these documents in person within 3 days of the employee's first day.

Disable popup blockers for best results with document uploads.
