Notifications triggered by a termination request

When a manager requests a termination in Zenefits, their completed request triggers emails to two people in Zenefits:

• the approver for the manager who requested the termination, and
• the terminated person's manager, who may or may not be the requestor.

When an administrator requests the termination, both they and the terminated individual's manager will receive notifications. Terminated workers will not receive any notifications at any point in the process.

Once the request is approved or denied, Zenefits will notify the requestor and the manager (who may be the same person). Terminated workers will not receive notifications at any point in the process.
