How to clock in and out with TimeKeeper on the web

Clock In

  1. Log in to your Zenefits account.
  2. Select the 'Time & Attendance'  app .
  3. Under the Timekeeper section, you may see the option to select a 'Project'  from the drop down menu.
  4. You may also have the option to enter a 'Note'.
  5. Click 'Clock In'.
Your status will change to 'Clocked In'.

Clock Out

  1. Log in to your Zenefits account.
  2. Select the 'Time & Attendance'  app .
  3. Under the Timekeeper section, click 'Clock Out'.
Your status will change to 'Clocked Out'.

Meal Break

  1. If your status in Zenefits Time & Attendance is 'Clocked In' and your company has enabled Meal Breaks, you will have a 'Meal Break' button. 
  2. Selecting 'Meal Break' will update your Status to 'On Break'
  3. To end a Meal Break, simply log back into Zenefits, click 'Time & Attendance', and select 'End Break'.
  4. Your Status will update to 'Clocked In'.

Switch Projects

If your company uses 'Project Codes', then you will see an option to select a Project from the drop down menu in your 'Time & Attendance' app. To switch a project:
  1. Log in to your Zenefits account and select 'Time & Attendance'.
  2. In the Timekeeper section, select the new Project from the drop down.
  3. Click the 'Switch Project'  button .

What if I've followed the steps above, but I don't see the option to clock in?

Your administrator or HR contact may not have added you to Time & Attendance. Check with them to see if that's why you aren't seeing the option to clock in. Steps to add workers to Time & Attendance are here.

OR

You may not see the option to clock in on the web because your company utilizes the iPad timekeeper method. The steps for your company administrator or HR contact to verify which reporting method they selected are linked here.
