Defining Holidays on Unlimited PTO Policy

This page explains how to define holidays on an unlimited PTO policy.

Zenefits ignores days defined as holidays on this list when calculating the amount of PTO in a particular request for tracking purposes. It will show the request as 0 hours instead of 8.

  1. Select or deselect the check box next to the holiday.
  2. Click +Add a Holiday to create a custom holiday.

Zenefits does not support half-day holidays (i.e. everyone working half-day on Christmas Eve).

Holidays must be defined on each policy created, and will not carry over year to year.
