Orthodontic Coverage for Dental Plans

To see if your plan includes orthodontic coverage, click on the Dental Insurance application. Information about orthodontic coverage may be listed under the Benefits Summary on the Dental Overview page, but remember that it's important to verify the coverage with your insurance carrier directly.

Under some plans, orthodontic treatments are subject to a lifetime maximum coverage amount. In other words, the insurance policy will cover a set amount for such treatments. Procedure costs may increase over time. Once the costs exceed this maximum, the remaining costs are paid out of pocket. Be sure to review the full plan details of your coverage for more information.
