Why are garnishments in the employee pay template in Zenefits Payroll?

The Garnishments section of an employee's pay template lists any garnishments that will show up in regular pay runs in Zenefits Payroll. For more information on calculating and adding garnishments, see this guide.

• Garnishments can be set up to recur indefinitely or for a specific number of paychecks.
• Unlike all other custom pay items in Zenefits Payroll, garnishments do not need to be set up as a pay item, from the Settings page before they can be added.
• Click the Edit icon to edit or delete a current garnishment item.
• Garnishments added to a pay template can be added to an off-cycle run using these instructions.
