eNPS Survey Methodology

The employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) value from the survey is calculated in the following manner.

Identify promoters, passives and detractors
  • Promoters: respondents giving a 9 or 10 score
  • Passives: respondents giving a 7 or 8 score
  • Detractors: respondents giving a 0 to 6 score

The eNPS value is calculated as the difference between the percentage of promoters and detractors.

For example, if your results are:

25% promoters
55% passives
20% detractors

NPS = promoters - detractors.

25 (promoters) - 20 (detractors) = +5 NPS
