Signing and Completing the Insurance Application
When the employee has finished filling out the required information for their insurance application, they will need to sign the application before Zenefits can send it to the insurance carrier.
If there are missing fields in the application, you will be prompted to go back and complete those fields before being able to sign and complete the application.
Once you sign and submit the application, you will be taken to a page confirming your completed application. Application processing time typically takes between one to two weeks. However, November and December are peak times for carriers, so applications can take an average of three weeks to process. For information on waiting for insurance approval, please see this page.
