Understanding Renewal Statuses in the Benefits Administration App

The Overview page of the Benefits Administration app will help you understand where your group is at in the renewal process during the open enrollment period. 

During the plan building process in a traditional open enrollment, you'll see a list that helps you understand the stages of progress:

  1. Plan Info
  2. Scheduling
  3. Map Plans
  4. Contributions
  5. Launch

If you're building plans for a passive enrollment, you'll see the following list of stages:
  1. Plan Info
  2. Scheduling
  3. Map Plans
  4. Contributions
Passive Renewal Steps

Once the plan building steps are completed, you may see a message that plans are being processed in Zenefits. This indicates that no further action is needed from you, and open enrollment will begin shortly.

If you see a message indicating that your benefits package is being reviewed, you'll need to contact Support to make sure there are no errors with the rates or plan setup.

Once open enrollment is launched, you'll be able to track and manage your employees'  progress.
